Government

AgDat offers industry a new and improved way to report farming practices to government and regulators, using spatial information and advanced reporting tools that provide objective data.

Government regulators have put increasing pressure on primary industries to improve farming practices and demonstrate a commitment to sustainable agriculture.   However, it’s often difficult for growers, processors and corporates to provide objective, quantifiable data that meets reporting requirements.

Agtrix has developed AgDat to make it easier for organisations to report all farm attributes and activities, including harvest and supply chain operations. Data is collected once and stored in a central repository. Reports can be generated to suit specific regulatory requirements.

The data generated by AgDat can also be used to quantify the benefits of government funding on industry incentives, extension programs or promotion.
